I Never Endorse Any Candidate, Ogun IPAC Chairman | Tropic Reporters News

ABEOKUTA – Following his alleged endorsement of the Governorship candidate of Allied People’s Movement (APM), in Ogun State, Adekunle Akinlade, the Ogun State Chairman of Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ogun has denied the claim, saying only political parties have legitimate power to endorse candidates not him.

It would be recalled that on Wednesday, 10 political parties in the State disassociated themselves from adoption of governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Hon. Adekunle Akinlade as a consensus candidate of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in the state.

The parties, under the aegis of Political Parties Chairmen Forum, said the reported adoption of Akinlade was fake and fraudulent, urging members of the public to disregard it.

But Arabambi in a press statement issued in Abeokuta on Friday and made available to newsmen described the 10 political parties chairmen as officeless chairmen whose interest was to cause disunity among the contending political parties in the state.

The IPAC Chairman argued that, he became a target of the public attack from the “officeless chairmen” for his refusal to do their bidding of selling IPAC.

His words, “My attention has been drawn to two separates press releases made by certain known, and some faceless, under bridge and officeless chairmen, casting dangerous aspersion on my person and integrity through baseless, quack, malicious and absolute grossly incompetence adoption allegation.

“I comrade Arabambi, the undisputed Ogun State IPAC chairman incured the wrath of this fellows for my refusal towed their Line of duty which is their trade Mark of not Wanting any open and all inclusive Ipac Govt upon which my Government shall operate for the next one year.

“The purpoted press release is misleading, mischievous, malicious, nonsensical, crude and Laughable as there is no video or audio back Up to proof that i made such Statements as Its a norms in Law for all allegations must be proven before it becomes a fact, therefore this set of people are just on a speculative mission to achieved their Dreams of bussiness as usual.”

He however affirmed that, adoption or endorsement of candidates is alien to only political parties not IPAC.

The IPAC chairman therefore urged members of the public to discard the allegation as beer parlour talks manufactured from Jankara market.
