​Oba of Benin suspends Enogie and Odionwere of Evbuomoma Village

The Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare the Second has approved the suspension of the Enogie of Evbuomoma, Stephen Ohangbon for constantly breaching Benin traditional norms and disrespecting emissaries from the Palace of the Oba of Benin, who were on assignment in his domain.
A statement signed by the Secretary, Benin Traditional Council, Frank Irabor also announced the suspension of the Odionwere Omorogieva Effionayi, who allegedly connived with the Enogie to incite the youths of the community against the Palace Chiefs, who visited the community.

The statement warned members of the public to stop dealing with the Enogie of Evbuomoma and the Odionwere.

The statement added that the Ozukpogieva is now in charge of the affairs of the community, pending when all allegations leveled against the suspended Enogie and Odionwere of Evbuomoma Community pending before the State Committee on Private Property Protection are resolved.
